nidaplast® EP / nidaflow® EP

The nidaplast® EP / nidaflow® EP systems are stormwater storage solutions that require no cleaning or maintenance. The retention basins are created using high-strength modular blocks, which protect against flooding during heavy rainfall and regulate the flow of water toward downstream treatment systems.

Answers from Documented Studies

A hydraulic study conducted by the University of Sheffield (UK) demonstrated that clogging of infiltration blocks can be completely prevented when:

• the nidaplast system is used, and
• the drainage outlet is installed at the lowest point of the tank.

With this design, the majority of suspended particles carried by rainwater pass directly through the drainage outlet without entering the interior of the blocks, thus preventing blockages.

In addition, a study by the technical center CETE DE L’EST, carried out on various nidaplast basins, showed that the systems maintain full functionality even after 10 years of continuous operation.
