The vortex flow regulator is used to limit and control stormwater discharge downstream of retention basins, tanks, or other hydraulic structures.
Its operation is based on the creation of a vortex inside the device chamber, which reduces the flow rate without the need for moving parts or external energy. In this way, a stabilized discharge to downstream systems is achieved, protecting networks and installations from peak flows and overloads.
